No. Consultations are always free.
You can speak directly with BC about your situation before making any decisions. There is no obligation and no upfront cost to understand your options.
Only for criminal cases. A retainer is required before any legal work begins.
All fees are clearly communicated in advance, and you will receive a written Retainer Agreement outlining the scope of representation. There are no surprise charges.
In most criminal defense matters, fees are quoted as a flat fee.
If there are exceptions to a flat-fee structure, they are discussed before any work begins. You will receive receipts as payments are made so you always know where things stand.

Yes. Credit card payments include a processing fee charged by the card networks and payment provider.
To help clients avoid this fee, we offer several alternative payment options, including cash, ACH/direct bank transfer, Zelle, Venmo, and CashApp, which do not carry a processing surcharge.
A 3.0% processing fee is added to all credit card payments.
At this time, we accept tap-to-pay only in the office (no swipe or chip transactions).
If payment is made over the phone and requires manual card entry (not Apple Pay, tap-to-pay, or in-person physical card payment), the following fees apply:
3.5% for non-American Express cards
4.0% for American Express cards
To avoid processing fees, we encourage clients to use non-credit card payment methods.
